This Evil Dead 2013 trailer previews a film that leaned hard into practical gore over CG, something producer Bruce Campbell and director Fede Alvarez were vocal about at the time — buckets of real blood and prosthetics were used wherever possible, with digital effects reserved mainly for cleanup and a handful of shots too dangerous to do for real.
