This Pirates of the Caribbean At World’s End trailer previews Gore Verbinski’s finale to the original trilogy, whose effects work fell to ILM once again — the studio that had already pushed digital character animation forward with Davy Jones’s tentacled crew in Dead Man’s Chest, and returned here for the Kraken, Calypso’s transformation and the massive maelstrom battle finale.
