Will Syfy cancel this show? based on their track record, this show will be short-lived. Lets hope not.
This Defiance TV series preview comes from Syfy’s biggest original series bet of 2013: a post-apocalyptic drama set in the year 2046, after seven alien races called the Votan arrived on Earth and reshaped the planet. Grant Bowler starred as lawman Joshua Nolan, keeping the peace in a frontier town built on the ruins of St. Louis. The show’s effects work was strong enough to earn a Primetime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Special Visual Effects, and it ran for three seasons before ending in 2015.
