Everything is not what it seems. This compilation of green screen in movies shows just how much of what looks like a real location is actually an actor standing in front of a blank colored backdrop. The technique, technically called chroma key compositing, works by digitally removing a single flat color (green is common because it’s rarely present in skin tones or costumes) and replacing it with a separately filmed or rendered background.
