Newtek’s Lightwave 3d gets a whole lot of features and enhancements in this latest upgrade. This LightWave 11 features showcase covers a 3D suite with real film pedigree — earlier LightWave versions were used for the effects on Battlestar Galactica and the original Iron Man, before bigger productions increasingly moved toward Maya and Houdini pipelines. NewTek positioned version 11 as a push to stay competitive on modeling, rendering and network rendering speed.
